Interview with Great OSV's Exceptional Midfielder Irina Borkowski
Reporter: Irina, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your recent form. You have been exceptional this season despite not having played any matches yet. Can you tell us about your preparation and what has kept you in such top form?
Irina: Thank you for having me. I have been putting in the work both on and off the pitch. Even though I haven't played any matches yet, I have been training hard and staying focused. I believe in continuous improvement, and I always strive to be better than I was yesterday.
Reporter: Your practice ethics are well known, with your coach praising your work ethic. How do you balance your seriousness about your career with the need to relax and unwind?
Irina: It's all about finding the right balance. I take my career very seriously and I am always looking for ways to improve. But I also know the importance of taking time to relax and recharge. Whether it's spending time with my friends and family or enjoying a good meal, I make sure to take breaks and not burn out.
Reporter: We've heard that you have been adopting healthier habits as you get older. Can you tell us more about this transition and how it has impacted your performance on the pitch?
Irina: As a young player, I wasn't the most health-conscious. But as I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've been focusing on my diet, opting for more keto-friendly options and cutting back on fast food. This change has definitely helped me feel better physically and perform at my best on the pitch.
Reporter: What is your favorite club to play against and why?
Irina: My favorite club to play against is definitely OSV. There's always a bit of a rivalry between us, and the matches are always intense. It pushes me to give my all and brings out the best in me as a player.
Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us about a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Irina: One interesting fact about me is that I am also a talented artist. I love to paint in my free time and find it to be a great way to relax and express myself creatively.
