Interview with Mai Araki: Great OSV Midfielder Struggling to Find Form

Reporter: Mai Araki, 37 years old and currently playing for Great OSV, has been a prominent figure in the football scene for years. Known for her exceptional skills and dedication, Araki has always been a player who puts everything into the game. However, her recent form has not been up to par, leaving fans and critics wondering what is going on.

Reporter: Mai, thank you for joining us today. Let's start by addressing your recent performances. You have always been known for your exceptional skill on the field, but it seems like you are struggling to find your form. What do you think is the reason behind this?

Mai Araki: Thank you for having me. Yes, it's true that my recent form has been disappointing. I believe it is a combination of factors. Firstly, I haven't been able to play any matches this season due to an injury. It's been frustrating to watch from the sidelines while my team struggles. Additionally, my practice ethics have always been extreme, but it seems like I may have pushed myself too hard and neglected other aspects of my life. It's a tough balance to maintain.

Reporter: Speaking of practice ethics, it's been said that you have sacrificed everything else in your life to thrive as a footballer. Can you elaborate on that?

Mai Araki: Absolutely. Football has always been my passion, my only goal in life. I have dedicated countless hours to training, pushing my body to the limit. I have given up friendships, social activities, and even personal time just to focus on improving as a footballer. I believe that in order to succeed, sacrifices must be made. Unfortunately, this approach may have taken a toll on my overall well-being.

Reporter: Your health has been a topic of discussion as well. It's been said that you have played through injuries and concussions, even partied all night before important matches. Do you think this has affected your performance?

Mai Araki: Well, I have always been determined to give my all for the team, regardless of my physical condition. I have played through injuries and concussions, driven by my love for the game. However, looking back, I can see how this may have hindered my overall performance. The human body is not invincible, and I'm afraid my choices may have long-term consequences. But in the heat of the moment, the desire to win sometimes overpowers rational thinking.

Reporter: Moving forward, what are your expectations for the rest of the season?

Mai Araki: Despite our current ranking, I still believe in my team and our abilities. We have a challenging road ahead, but I am confident that we can turn things around. Personally, I am working hard to recover from my injury, and I hope to be back on the field soon, giving my best for Great OSV.

Reporter: Lastly, let's end this interview with a random interesting fact about your life. Can you share one with us?

Mai Araki: Sure! Not many people know this, but outside of football, I have a passion for cooking. Whenever I have spare time, which is rare these days, I experiment with different recipes and flavors. It's a way for me to relax and recharge, away from the constant pressure of the sport.
