Interview with Rising Star Midfielder Kalani Maiava

Reporter: Kalani, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us. Your recent form on the field has been exceptional, despite not having played any matches this season. How have you been able to stay in top shape?
Kalani: Thanks for having me. I think it's a combination of natural talent and just enjoying the game. I love being out on the field and giving my all when I do play.

Reporter: Some critics have labeled you as lazy due to your practice ethics. How do you respond to those claims?
Kalani: Everyone has their own way of approaching the game. For me, football is important but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I may not always put in extra work, but I still give my best on the field.

Reporter: It's been said that you have a wide range of interests outside of football. Can you tell us a bit about that?
Kalani: Yeah, I love music and video games. I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes. I think having other hobbies helps me stay balanced and focused when I do play.

Reporter: Despite a less than healthy lifestyle, you seem to power through injuries and concussions without issue. How do you manage to stay on top of your game?
Kalani: I think it's just a matter of being mentally strong and pushing through any obstacles that come my way. I know my body may not age well, but for now, I'm focused on giving my all on the field.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share with us your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style?
Kalani: I always look forward to playing against REV. They're a tough team and it's always a challenge. My favorite formation is 4-3-3 and I love playing a defending style.

Reporter: Thank you for your time, Kalani. We wish you continued success on the field.
Kalani: Thank you, it was a pleasure.
