Interview with Rising Star Shizuko Sano

Reporter: Shizuko, congratulations on your exceptional form this season with the Doha Falcons. How have you been able to maintain such high performance on the pitch?

Shizuko: Thank you! I think a lot of it comes down to my love for the game and my determination to improve every time I step onto the field. I also have a great support system in my teammates and coaches who push me to be the best player I can be.

Reporter: Your practice ethics have been described as not the hardest worker but also not the worst. How do you balance putting in the work with still enjoying the game?

Shizuko: It's all about finding that balance. I know that I need to work hard to continue improving, but I also believe that it's important to have fun and enjoy what you're doing. I make sure to give my all in training and matches, but I also make time to relax and have fun off the pitch.

Reporter: We've heard that you're progressively adopting healthier habits to prolong your career. Can you tell us more about that?

Shizuko: Yes, as a young player I didn't always pay attention to my health as much as I should have. But now I'm starting to realize the importance of taking care of my body, both on and off the pitch. I've been focusing on eating healthier, like less fast food and more keto, and I've been working with our team's fitness coach to improve my overall fitness level.

Reporter: It's clear that you have a bright future ahead of you in the world of football. What are your goals for the rest of this season and beyond?

Shizuko: My main goal is to continue improving as a player and helping my team succeed. I want to score more goals, provide more assists, and ultimately help the Doha Falcons climb to the top of the league. And who knows, maybe one day I'll have the opportunity to play for a top club in Europe.

Reporter: Thank you for your time, Shizuko. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you on the football pitch.

Shizuko: Thank you, it's been a pleasure. And fun fact about me - I actually started playing football at the age of 5 because my older brother used to play and I wanted to be just like him. It's been a passion of mine ever since.
