"Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Forward, Maretha Andi"

Reporter: Maretha, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start with your practice ethics. You are known for your exceptional skill and dedication to improving as a footballer. Can you tell us a bit more about your approach to training and how it has evolved over the years?

Maretha Andi: Absolutely. When I was younger, I was solely focused on my career and would do whatever it took to reach my goals. I would train all day, every day, sacrificing everything else in my life. But as I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of balance and taking care of my body. I've started adopting healthier habits, like following a keto diet and focusing on injury prevention.

Reporter: That's great to hear. Now, despite not playing any matches this season, your recent form has been exceptional. Can you share with us how you have been able to maintain such high levels of performance, even without regular game time?

Maretha Andi: It all comes down to staying mentally and physically sharp. I never let myself get complacent, even if I'm not playing. I continue to train as if I am preparing for a match, always pushing myself to improve. And when I do get the opportunity to play, I make sure to give it my all and show what I'm capable of.

Reporter: It's clear that your dedication to the sport has paid off. Now, let's talk about your favorite club to play against, HOS. What is it about facing them on the pitch that excites you?

Maretha Andi: HOS has always been a tough opponent for me, but I enjoy the challenge they bring. It pushes me to elevate my game and test my skills against top competition. Plus, there's always a bit of extra motivation when playing against a rival team.

Reporter: And finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?

Maretha Andi: Well, not many people know this, but I have a passion for cooking. Whenever I have some free time, I like to experiment in the kitchen and try out new recipes. It's a great way for me to relax and unwind after a long day of training.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Maretha. It's been a pleasure speaking with you. Good luck with the rest of the season!

Maretha Andi: Thank you, I appreciate it.
