Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Goalkeeper Evren Enis
Reporter: Evren, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start off by discussing your recent form - with exceptional performances, how do you feel about your current level of play?
Evren: Thank you for having me. I'm feeling confident and in top form at the moment. I've been putting in the work on the training ground and it's paying off on the pitch.
Reporter: That's great to hear. You mentioned that you like clubs who put on a good show for the fans. How important is fan support to you as a player?
Evren: Fan support is everything to me. I love playing in front of a passionate crowd and giving them something to cheer about. It motivates me to perform at my best.
Reporter: Speaking of performing at your best, you have yet to make an appearance in a match this season. How do you stay prepared and focused despite not being able to showcase your skills in a game?
Evren: I stay ready by staying sharp in training and pushing myself to improve every day. I know my time will come, and when it does, I'll be ready to make an impact.
Reporter: It's great to see your dedication to your craft. On a different note, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and why?
Evren: I always enjoy playing against BDB. The matches are always intense and competitive, which brings out the best in me as a player.
Reporter: Lastly, we hear that you have been making efforts to adopt healthier habits to prolong your career. Can you share a bit more about that?
Evren: As a young player, I didn't pay much attention to my health, but as I've gotten older, I realize the importance of taking care of my body. I've been making changes to my diet, focusing on eating healthier and staying fit to ensure I can continue playing at a high level for years to come.
Reporter: That's fantastic to hear, Evren. Before we wrap up, can you share a random interesting fact about your life off the pitch?
Evren: One random fact about me is that I have a twin brother who plays as a striker for a club in the lower divisions. We've always had a friendly rivalry on the field but remain close off of it.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing, Evren, and best of luck with the rest of the season.
Evren: Thank you, it was a pleasure.
