Lagos Sunshine FC Midfielder Kaili Alana Talks About His Unconventional Approach to the Game

Interviewer: Kaili, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start with your recent form - exceptional, but you haven't played any matches this season. Can you explain why?
Kaili Alana: Well, it's been a bit of a strange season for me so far. I've been dealing with some personal issues that have kept me off the pitch, but I've been working hard to get back to full fitness and I'm confident I'll be back soon.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics have been described as not the hardest worker but also not the worst. Can you elaborate on your approach to training?
Kaili Alana: I believe in finding a balance between hard work and enjoying life. I don't see the point in burning myself out in training if it's going to affect my performance on match day. I always make sure to meet the expectations of the club, but I also like to have fun and enjoy myself whenever I can.
Interviewer: Your healthiness has been a topic of discussion, with reports of partying before important matches and playing through injuries. How do you manage to perform at such a high level despite these challenges?
Kaili Alana: I've always had a high pain tolerance and a strong will to succeed. I know that my body may not age well, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals on the pitch. I don't recommend my lifestyle to anyone, but it's what works for me.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style?
Kaili Alana: I always look forward to playing against OIL. They bring out the best in me and it's always a competitive match. My favorite formation is 3-5-2 because it allows me to focus on defending, which is my preferred play style.
Interviewer: Thank you for your time, Kaili. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
Kaili Alana: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
