Leonie Lang: The Unconventional Star of the Doha Falcons
Reporter: Hello Leonie, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us for this interview. Let's start by talking about your playing style. You're known for your exceptional skills on the field, particularly as a forward. How do you manage to maintain such high levels of performance at the age of 37?
Leonie Lang: Thank you for having me. I think my love for the game and my natural talent play a big role in my performance. I may not be the most diligent in practice, but when it comes to game time, I always give it my all.
Reporter: You have yet to play a match this season. Can you tell us why that is?
Leonie Lang: Unfortunately, I suffered a minor injury during training which has kept me sidelined. But I'm working hard to recover quickly and get back on the field as soon as possible.
Reporter: You've mentioned that football is important to you, but so is having fun and spending time with family. How do you balance these different aspects of your life?
Leonie Lang: It's all about finding a good balance. I make sure to prioritize my health and fitness, but I also believe in enjoying life outside of football. Spending time with my family and pursuing other interests keeps me happy and motivated.
Reporter: What would you say is your favorite aspect of playing football?
Leonie Lang: I really enjoy the challenge of defending. It's a crucial part of the game and I take pride in my abilities in that area.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our readers?
Leonie Lang: Well, not many people know this, but I actually have a black belt in karate. It's a passion of mine outside of football and it helps me stay disciplined and focused.
