Maryam Awad: The Resilient Midfielder Striving for Success
Interviewer: Maryam Awad, thank you for joining us today. Let's start with your recent form, which hasn't been great. Can you tell us what you think has been the cause of this?
Maryam Awad: Thank you for having me. I believe my recent form has suffered due to various factors, including a lack of playing time and not being fully fit. It's been a challenging period for me, both physically and mentally.
Interviewer: You mention a lack of playing time. How many matches have you played this season?
Maryam Awad: Unfortunately, I haven't played any matches this season. I've been struggling with an injury that has kept me out of the squad. It's frustrating, but I'm doing everything I can to recover and get back on the pitch.
Interviewer: Can you tell us about your practice ethics and your dedication to the sport?
Maryam Awad: My practice ethics are extremely intense. I'll do whatever it takes to improve myself as a footballer, even if it means sacrificing everything else in my life. I don't have many friends or engage in much fun because my main focus is on working hard day in and day out.
Interviewer: That level of dedication is remarkable. However, do you think it's sustainable in the long run?
Maryam Awad: It's a tough question. I believe that my determination and focus have brought me success in the past, but I do worry about the toll it may take on my body. I've pushed through injuries and played even when I probably shouldn't have. I don't think I'll age well physically, but I'm willing to endure it for the love of the game.
Interviewer: On a lighter note, do you have a favorite club to play against?
Maryam Awad: Definitely CCC. They always provide a tough challenge, and I thrive in those competitive environments. It's always an exciting match-up.
Interviewer: And what is your favorite formation and play style?
Maryam Awad: I prefer the 3-5-2 formation, as it allows me to contribute both offensively and defensively. I enjoy playing an attacking style, but also being able to support my teammates defensively when needed.
Interviewer: Lastly, could you share an interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Maryam Awad: Well, what many people don't know is that I'm an avid reader and a lover of poetry. It's my way of finding solace and balance amidst the intensity of my football career.
