Mehmet Ayaz: The Veteran Midfield Maestro

Reporter: Mehmet Ayaz, it's great to sit down and talk to you. You've had an exceptional career so far, with your recent form being nothing short of impressive. How do you manage to stay at the top of your game?

Mehmet Ayaz: Thank you, it's been a long journey to get where I am today. I think it all comes down to my serious practice ethics. I invest a lot of time in improving my skills both on and off the pitch. But I also know how to have fun and let loose once in a while. Balancing work and play is key for me.

Reporter: You've had quite a few injuries and concussions throughout your career. How do you manage to stay healthy and keep performing at such a high level?

Mehmet Ayaz: I've been through a lot, that's for sure. I guess you could say my body is more of a ruin than a temple, but I've always powered through. I've partied all night before a cup final and still managed to give my best on the pitch. I know I won't age well, but I'm not ready to slow down just yet.

Reporter: Do you have a favorite club to play against?

Mehmet Ayaz: Definitely MAR. The rivalry between us always brings out the best in me. I thrive in those high-pressure matches.

Reporter: What is your favorite formation and play style?

Mehmet Ayaz: I love playing in a 4-4-2 formation, with a focus on defending. I take pride in being able to shut down the opposition and create opportunities for my team.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with us?

Mehmet Ayaz: Well, not many people know this, but I actually used to be a professional chess player before I switched to football. It taught me a lot about strategy and decision-making, skills that have definitely helped me on the pitch.
