Melbourne United's Kalia Kamaka Talks About His Dedication to Football
Interviewer: Kalia, you have an exceptional skill on the football pitch. How do you manage to maintain your level of play?
Kalia: To be honest, football is my life. I am willing to do anything to thrive as a footballer, even if that means sacrificing everything else around me. No friends, no fun. Just work all day every day. I push myself to the limits every day in training and try to learn as much as possible from my coaches and teammates.
Interviewer: That's quite a dedication. What do you like the most in clubs in general?
Kalia: I think that investing in team chemistry and culture is extremely important. When everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goal, it creates an incredible atmosphere that translates onto the pitch.
Interviewer: You haven't played any matches this season. What have you been doing to keep yourself in shape and ready for when you do play?
Kalia: I have been working extremely hard in training, trying to improve every aspect of my game. I have also been focusing on adopting healthier habits to prolong my career, such as eating a keto diet and taking care of my body.
Interviewer: Do you have a favorite club to play against?
Kalia: I would say SUN. They always bring a high level of intensity to the pitch, which makes for a great challenge.
Interviewer: What is your favorite formation and play style?
Kalia: I really enjoy playing in a 4-2-3-1 formation with an attacking play style. It allows me to use my skills to create opportunities for my teammates and push forward towards the goal.
Interviewer: Finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life?
Kalia: When I was younger, I used to play both football and rugby. It wasn't until I started to excel in football that I decided to focus solely on that sport.
