Name: Hideo Shimabukuro: The Veteran Goalkeeper Leading BBZ F.C. to Success
Interviewer: Hideo, congratulations on a fantastic season so far with BBZ F.C. You have been in exceptional form, only conceding 2 goals in 5 matches. What do you attribute your success to at the age of 40?
Hideo: Thank you. I think it's a combination of experience, hard work, and a newfound focus on my health. As I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body, both on and off the pitch. This has definitely helped me perform at a high level consistently.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics have been described as not the most dedicated, yet you still manage to excel on the field. How do you strike a balance between work and play?
Hideo: Football is important to me, but so is enjoying life and spending time with my family. I believe that having a wide range of interests outside of the game actually helps me stay fresh and motivated. I may not be the most intense in training, but when it comes to game time, I always give my best.
Interviewer: What is your favorite club to play against and why?
Hideo: Definitely RAI. They always bring out the best in me and it's always a tough battle between us. The competition is fierce, and I thrive in those kinds of games.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with us?
Hideo: Well, not many people know this, but I actually used to be a professional sumo wrestler before pursuing a career in football. It's a completely different world, but the discipline and dedication I learned in sumo have definitely helped me in my football journey.
Interviewer: Thank you for your time, Hideo. Best of luck in the rest of the season.
Hideo: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
