Name: Mailin Lau: The Unconventional Midfielder

Reporter: Mailin, can you tell us about your unique approach to football and how you manage to still perform at such a high level despite your unconventional lifestyle?
Mailin: Well, I've always been someone who likes to march to the beat of my own drum. Football is important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I might not be known for my practice ethics, but I believe that as long as I show up on game day and give it my all, that's what really matters.
Reporter: You've been described as someone who doesn't put in the extra work but still manages to make it work on the field. How do you respond to those who call you lazy?
Mailin: I think everyone has their own way of preparing for a game. Some players need to train for hours on end, while others, like myself, prefer a more laid-back approach. At the end of the day, it's all about what works best for each individual.
Reporter: You've had quite the adventurous career, partying all night before a cup final and playing through injuries and concussions. How do you manage to keep going despite the toll it takes on your body?
Mailin: I've always been someone who loves a good challenge. Playing through injuries and pushing myself to the limit is just part of the game for me. I know that my body might not age well, but for now, I'm focused on giving it my all on the field.
Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style?
Mailin: My favorite club to play against would have to be GRR. They always bring out the best in me. As for my favorite formation, I prefer a 4-2-3-1, and I like to play a neutral style that allows me to adapt to any situation on the field.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Mailin. We wish you the best of luck in your upcoming matches with the Olympians Cariocas.
Mailin: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
