Reporter: Nicola, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start with your current club, Lagos Sunshine FC. How have you been adjusting to the team and the Nigerian league?

Nicola Mauro: It's been a bit of a challenge, to be honest. Coming from a different league and adapting to a new country has its own set of challenges. But I'm enjoying the experience and trying to make the best of it.

Reporter: You have quite the reputation for your work ethic both on and off the pitch. Can you tell us a bit about how you maintain your level of play?

Nicola Mauro: I believe that hard work pays off. I'm always looking for ways to improve my game, whether it's through extra training sessions or studying film of my opponents. It's important to stay disciplined and focused, but I also know how to have fun and relax when the time calls for it.

Reporter: Your health has been a topic of discussion in the past, with reports of partying before important matches and playing through injuries. How do you manage to stay at the top of your game despite these challenges?

Nicola Mauro: *laughs* Well, I've always been a bit of a risk-taker, both on and off the pitch. I know my body well and I trust that I can push through any obstacles that come my way. It's all part of the game for me.

Reporter: Lastly, let's talk about your future with Lagos Sunshine FC. What are your goals for the upcoming season and beyond?

Nicola Mauro: My main goal is to help the team improve and climb up the rankings. I want to contribute as much as I can and hopefully score some goals along the way. As for the future, I'm just taking it one game at a time and enjoying the journey. Who knows what the future holds?
