Neiko Ogawa: From Sacrifices to Success

Interviewer: Neiko Ogawa, at 36 years old you are still playing at a high level. What do you attribute your longevity to?

Neiko Ogawa: It's all about the sacrifices I've made throughout my career. I treat my body like my most important asset, turning down late nights and new challenges to ensure a long and healthy career. It hasn't always been easy, but it's all worth it when I step onto the field.

Interviewer: You've been with Porto Alegre International for quite some time now. What do you like most about this club?

Neiko Ogawa: Porto Alegre International is a club that wants to win at all costs, and that's something I admire. I thrive in environments where everyone is focused on the same goal – victory. It pushes me to give my best every single day.

Interviewer: Your recent form has been good, with five matches played this season. How do you maintain such consistency?

Neiko Ogawa: Practice, practice, and more practice. I have an exceptional work ethic, and I'll do anything to improve as a footballer. My only goal in life is to thrive in this profession, even if it means sacrificing everything else around me. No friends, no fun. Just work all day, every day.

Interviewer: Which club do you enjoy playing against the most?

Neiko Ogawa: GIZ. It's always a thrilling match whenever we face them. The competition is fierce, and I thrive in those intense moments. It's a challenge that brings out the best in me every time.

Interviewer: What is your favorite formation to play in?

Neiko Ogawa: I prefer the 4-4-2 formation. It allows for a balanced playstyle, both defensively and offensively. It provides the flexibility to attack while maintaining a solid defensive structure.

Interviewer: Currently, Porto Alegre International is ranked 8th out of 10 teams. How do you plan to improve the team's position?

Neiko Ogawa: We need to work harder and keep pushing ourselves. As a defender, my focus is on minimizing goals conceded. We've conceded five goals this season, and we need to tighten up our defense. I believe that with our exceptional skills and determination, we can rise in the rankings.

Interviewer: Lastly, can you share an interesting fact about your life?

Neiko Ogawa: Well, despite my intense dedication to football, I do have a hidden talent for playing the piano. It's something I indulge in during my rare moments of relaxation. It's a way for me to unwind and find some peace amidst the chaos of the football world.
