Professional footballer Kathrine Stephen opens up about her unique approach to the game

Reporter: Thank you for taking the time to sit down with us, Kathrine. Let's start with your current club, Berlin Mayhem. How has the season been going for you so far?

Kathrine Stephen: It's been a bit frustrating to be honest. I haven't been able to get on the pitch yet this season, but I'm working hard in training to earn my spot. Hopefully, I'll get my chance soon.

Reporter: You have a reputation for being a strong and experienced forward. How do you stay in top form, even when you're not playing in matches?

Kathrine Stephen: I think it's important to always be ready for when your opportunity comes. I may not be the hardest worker on the team, but I make sure to put in the work to stay sharp and be ready to contribute when called upon.

Reporter: Speaking of contributions, you have yet to score a goal or provide an assist this season. Are you feeling any pressure to perform?

Kathrine Stephen: Of course, there's always pressure to perform at this level. But I try not to let it get to me. I know what I'm capable of, and I believe that my time will come.

Reporter: You mentioned earlier that you enjoy playing against SUN. What is it about that club that brings out the best in you?

Kathrine Stephen: SUN has always been a tough opponent for us, but I thrive in those high-pressure situations. The challenge of going up against a strong team like SUN brings out the best in me.

Reporter: Finally, we heard a rumor that you have a unique approach to your health and fitness. Can you tell us a little more about that?

Kathrine Stephen: (laughs) Let's just say I like to live life to the fullest, both on and off the pitch. I've had my fair share of injuries and setbacks, but I always bounce back. You only live once, right?

Reporter: Thank you for your time, Kathrine. We wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season.

Kathrine Stephen: Thank you, it was a pleasure.
