Rashard Hamid Talks About His Love for Player Development
Interviewer: Rashard, thank you for joining us today. Let's start off by talking about your love for player development. What is it about clubs that invest in player development that you like the most?
Rashard Hamid: Well, for me, it's all about growth. As a developing player, I want to be in an environment that helps me become the best version of myself. Clubs that invest in player development usually have better coaching, training facilities, and support systems. It's something that I value a lot in my career.
Interviewer: That's great to hear. Moving on to your recent form, you've been playing quite well this season. How do you feel about your performances so far?
Rashard Hamid: I'm happy with how I've been playing, but I know there's still a lot of room for improvement. As a forward, my main job is to score goals, and I haven't been able to do that yet this season. But I'm working hard in training, and I know the goals will come eventually.
Interviewer: Speaking of training, some people have said that you're not known for your willingness to put in the extra work. How do you respond to that?
Rashard Hamid: I think that's a bit unfair. Football is definitely important to me, but so is spending time with my family and having fun. I don't think that makes me lazy. I do what I need to do to stay healthy and perform well on the pitch.
Interviewer: That's a fair point. Moving on to your favorite club to play against, you said it's OIL. Why is that?
Rashard Hamid: OIL is a tough team, and I like a challenge. Plus, they have a great defense, which forces me to be creative and come up with new ways to score.
Interviewer: And finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with us?
Rashard Hamid: Sure. I'm actually a really good cook. I love trying out new recipes and experimenting with different flavors. It's something that helps me relax and take my mind off football for a little while.
Interviewer: That's great to hear. Thanks for your time, Rashard, and good luck with the rest of the season.
Rashard Hamid: Thank you.
