Riki Nakashima: It's been tough, no doubt about it. As a professional footballer, playing the game I love is my ultimate goal. But setbacks are part of the journey, and I've learned to stay positive and focused on my recovery. I believe that hardships make us stronger, and I'm determined to come back even stronger than before.

Interviewer: That's a great mindset to have. What do you think has contributed to your recent form not being up to your usual exceptional level?

Riki Nakashima: Football is a team sport, and it's not just about individual performances. I think our team chemistry and culture at Lagos Sunshine FC could be improved. Hopefully, we can work on that in the future.

Riki Nakashima: When it comes to practice, I believe in giving everything I have. Football is not just a game to me; it's my passion, my purpose in life. I'm willing to sacrifice everything else to become the best footballer I can be. That means no friends, no fun, just work all day, every day. I treat my body like my most important asset, making sure I take all the necessary steps for a long and healthy career.

Interviewer: That level of dedication is truly remarkable. What is your favorite aspect of playing football?

Riki Nakashima: I love the thrill of attacking. Scoring goals, creating chances for my teammates, and making an impact in the final third. That's where I feel most alive on the pitch. It's a joyous feeling that can't be replicated.

Interviewer: And speaking of joy, do you have a favorite club to play against?

Riki Nakashima: GRR has always been a club I look forward to playing against. They have a strong defensive line, and it's always a challenge to break through their defense. It pushes me to bring out the best in myself and find creative ways to contribute to the team's success.
