[Interviewer]: Miko Michie, thank you for joining us today. As a young and promising defender, you have certainly made a name for yourself at Lagos Sunshine FC. How does it feel to be one of the rising stars in the football world?
[Miko Michie]: Thank you for having me. It's been an incredible journey so far. Being recognized for my skills and seeing the support from fans is truly humbling. I still have a long way to go, but it's encouraging to see my hard work paying off.
[Interviewer]: Your recent form has been exceptional. Can you tell us what has contributed to your success on the field?
[Miko Michie]: I believe it's a combination of dedication, practice, and a great support system. I've always been serious about my career and have invested a lot of time both on and off the pitch to improve myself. My coach has been instrumental in guiding me towards becoming a better player, and I am grateful for his belief in me.
[Interviewer]: What qualities do you look for in a club, besides a successful team?
[Miko Michie]: For me, team chemistry and culture are vital. I enjoy playing in a supportive and harmonious environment. When a club invests in building a strong bond among its players, it reflects positively on the field. It creates a sense of unity and a shared goal, which ultimately leads to better performances.
[Interviewer]: You've only played one match this season so far. Can you share your thoughts on that game and the challenges you faced?
[Miko Michie]: It was an intense match against a formidable opponent. I was given the opportunity to showcase my skills and contribute to the team's defense. We managed to secure a clean sheet, which was a great achievement. It was a challenging game, but I'm grateful for the experience and excited for more opportunities to prove myself.
[Interviewer]: You have a reputation for being extremely dedicated to your career, but also knowing how to let loose occasionally. How do you balance both aspects?
[Miko Michie]: It's all about finding the right balance. Football is my passion, and I take it very seriously. However, I also understand the importance of taking breaks and enjoying life outside the pitch. It helps me relax and recharge, which in turn enhances my performance when I'm back on the field.
[Interviewer]: In terms of your health, you've been through quite a lot, including partying all night before a cup final and playing through injuries and concussions. How do you manage to overcome these obstacles?
[Miko Michie]: I must admit, I've made some questionable decisions in the past. But I've learned from those experiences, and I'm more focused on prioritizing my long-term well-being now. It's important to listen to my body and take necessary precautions to ensure I can perform at my best while avoiding unnecessary risks.
[Interviewer]: Which club do you enjoy playing against the most?
[Miko Michie]: I always look forward to facing RAI. They have a strong attacking style, which challenges me as a defender. It's always an exciting and intense match when we go head-to-head.
[Interviewer]: Lastly, what is your favorite formation and play style?
[Miko Michie]: I prefer a 4-4-1-1 formation, as it allows for a strong defensive structure while allowing us to attack effectively. I enjoy an attacking play style that focuses on quick transitions and creating opportunities in the opposition's half.
[Interviewer]: Thank you, Miko Michie, for sharing your insights with us. We wish you continued success in your career at Lagos Sunshine FC.
[Miko Michie]: Thank you. It was my pleasure. I'm looking forward to what the future holds for me and my team.
