Rusty Shaffer: Thank you, it's been a great season for me personally. I've been working hard both on and off the pitch to improve my game, and I think that's reflected in my performance. I'm feeling confident and motivated to keep pushing myself to do better.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics have been praised by your coach. How do you balance your serious approach to your career with letting loose once in a while?
Rusty Shaffer: It's all about finding the right balance. I take my career very seriously and put in the work to be the best player I can be. But I also know the importance of enjoying life and taking time to relax and have fun. It's all about finding that balance and knowing when to switch gears.
Interviewer: You're known for treating your body like your most important asset. How do you stay disciplined in maintaining your health and fitness?
Rusty Shaffer: I've always believed that taking care of my body is crucial for my longevity in the sport. I eat well, train hard, and make sure to get enough rest and recovery. It's all about making smart choices and prioritizing my health above all else.
Interviewer: What's your favorite club to play against and why?
Rusty Shaffer: Definitely LUC. They always bring out the best in me as a player, and the competition is fierce. It's always a challenge playing against them, but I thrive on that challenge and enjoy the intensity of the matches.
Interviewer: Can you tell us a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Rusty Shaffer: Well, not many people know this, but I'm actually a skilled chef in my spare time. I love experimenting in the kitchen and trying out new recipes. Cooking is a great way for me to relax and unwind after a tough match.
