Shigeo Saito: The Rising Star of Cordoba Gauchos

Reporter: Shigeo Saito, thank you for joining us for this interview. Let's start by talking about your recent exceptional form on the field. What do you attribute this success to?

Shigeo Saito: Thank you for having me. I think my strong skill as a defender has really helped me in my recent performances. I've been able to read the game well and make crucial tackles to help my team.

Reporter: It's been noted that you have a wide range of interests outside of football. How do you balance your love for the game with your other hobbies?

Shigeo Saito: Football is definitely important to me, but I also enjoy spending time with my family and having fun. I think it's all about finding the right balance and making sure to prioritize what's important at the moment.

Reporter: Some critics have labeled you as lazy on the pitch. How do you respond to those comments?

Shigeo Saito: I don't think I'm lazy, I just have different priorities. I believe in working smart rather than working hard, and I think it's all about finding what works best for me.

Reporter: As a young player, how do you plan on prolonging your career by adopting healthier habits?

Shigeo Saito: I've been trying to eat healthier and take care of my body more. I've been cutting down on fast food and trying out the keto diet. I think it's important to take care of your body as a professional athlete.

Reporter: Lastly, what's an interesting fact about your life that fans might not know about?

Shigeo Saito: Well, one interesting fact about me is that I used to play the piano when I was younger. It's something that I still enjoy doing in my free time and it helps me relax off the pitch.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Shigeo Saito. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season with Cordoba Gauchos.

Shigeo Saito: Thank you for having me, I appreciate it.
