Sons of the Sahya's Linne Sundberg opens up about his unique approach to the game
Interviewer: Linne, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us. Let's start off by talking about your practice ethics. You're known as someone who puts in the work, but doesn't go above and beyond. How do you find that balance?
Linne: Well, I believe in doing what's necessary to meet the expectations of the club. I'm not the hardest worker, but I'm certainly not the worst. I also think it's important to have fun and enjoy the game, so I never turn down an opportunity for some fun as long as I can still perform on the pitch.
Interviewer: That's an interesting perspective. Now, let's talk about your healthiness. You've been through injuries and concussions, yet you continue to power through. Do you think this will affect you in the long run?
Linne: Honestly, I've always had a bit of a reckless attitude towards my health. I've partied all night before cup finals and pushed through injuries. I guess you could say my body is more of a ruin than a temple. I'm not sure how well I'll age, but I'll deal with that when the time comes.
Interviewer: Switching gears, let's talk about your favorite club to play against, BDB. What is it about facing them that gets you excited?
Linne: BDB always brings out the best in me. They're a tough opponent, but I thrive on the challenge. Plus, the atmosphere when we play against them is always electric.
Interviewer: Lastly, let's talk about your on-field performance. You've yet to concede a goal this season. What do you attribute that to?
Linne: I have to give credit to my teammates and our defensive strategy. We work well together in the 4-4-2 formation, and my favorite play style is defending. I take pride in keeping that clean sheet.
Interviewer: Before we wrap up, can you share a random interesting fact about your life?
Linne: Well, I actually used to be a competitive swimmer before I switched to football. Swimming taught me discipline and focus, which have helped me on the pitch.
Interviewer: Fascinating. Thank you for sharing that with us, Linne. Best of luck with the rest of the season.
Linne: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
