Star Defender Callysta Hartono Talks About Her Career and Future with Sons of the Sahya
Interviewer: Callysta, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your recent exceptional form, despite not playing any matches this season. How have you managed to maintain such high levels of performance?
Callysta: Thank you for having me. I think it all comes down to my dedication to my career. I may not have played any matches yet this season, but I have been putting in the work on and off the pitch. I believe in the importance of constantly improving and pushing myself to be the best player I can be.
Interviewer: Your coach has praised you for your work ethic. Can you tell us more about your practice habits and how you balance work and play?
Callysta: I take my career very seriously, so I make sure to put in the time and effort to improve my skills. However, I also know the importance of taking time to relax and enjoy life. I like to let loose once in a while, but I always make sure to stay focused on my goals.
Interviewer: It's great to hear that you have a good balance. How have you been working on improving your health and prolonging your career?
Callysta: As a young player, I may not have been the most health-conscious on the pitch. But with age and experience, I have been taking steps to adopt healthier habits. I've been cutting back on fast food and following a keto diet to ensure that I can continue playing at a high level for as long as possible.
Interviewer: That's fantastic to hear. Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your favorite formation and play style?
Callysta: I always enjoy playing against ROY. They are a tough competitor, and I love the challenge they present. My favorite formation is 4-3-3, and I enjoy a defensive play style. I take pride in keeping a clean sheet and not conceding any goals.
