Stephen Thompson: From Midfielder to Maturity

The Giza Club is lucky to have one of the most experienced and skilled midfielders in the league, Stephen Thompson. At the age of 39, he has achieved a level of maturity in his might that is quite remarkable.

When asked about his recent form, Stephen replied “It’s been good. I’m working hard, and I’m playing to the best of my ability.” He has played nine matches, and although he has not scored any goals, he has made four assists.

When asked about the club he likes to play against most, Stephen said “I always enjoy playing against OLP, the team is always a great challenge.” He also spoke about his favorite formation and playing style, which he described as 4-2-3-1 and neutral, respectively. His current team is currently ranked fourth of 10 teams.

The interviewer asked about Stephen’s practice ethics, to which Stephen responded “I do everything I can to get better, everything. My only goal in life is to thrive as a footballer, even if that means sacrificing everything else around me. No friends, no fun. Just work all day, every day.”

When asked about his general healthiness, Stephen mentioned that he treats his body like his most important asset. He said that he turns down fun late nights or new athletic challenges to ensure he has a long and healthy career as a footballer.

Interesting fact: Stephen’s favorite food is Italian pasta.
