Lucio Fusco: Thank you for having me. Well, my journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. I've always been passionate about football, and from a young age, I knew that this was what I wanted to do with my life. Sacrifices had to be made, though. I've always been extremely dedicated to my career, which meant giving up a lot of things – friends, parties, and even some of life's simple pleasures. But in the end, it's all worth it when you step onto that field.
Interviewer: Your dedication certainly shows. How do you think your practice ethics have contributed to your success as a player?
Lucio Fusco: Practice is everything to me. I believe that if you want to be the best, you have to give it your all, every single day. I've worked tirelessly to improve my skills and become a better player. It's a mindset that has driven me my whole life, and it's what sets me apart. No matter the sacrifice, I'll do whatever it takes to thrive as a footballer.
Interviewer: That level of commitment is truly commendable. As a forward, what are some of the attributes that you believe are essential to excel in your position?
Lucio Fusco: As a forward, strength and experience are crucial. Being able to hold the ball, win aerial duels, and create opportunities for my teammates is what I strive for. With age, I've become more aware of the importance of taking care of my body. I've adopted healthier habits, focusing on nutrition and fitness to prolong my career. It's all about finding the right balance and adapting as you grow older.
Interviewer: You've mentioned that you have a fondness for clubs that value and support their players. Can you elaborate on what you appreciate the most about these clubs?
Lucio Fusco: Well, money isn't everything, but it certainly helps. I believe that clubs should pay their players well, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. It's not just about the money, though. A supportive club creates an environment where players can thrive both on and off the pitch. When there's a strong bond between the players and the organization, it creates a solid foundation for success.
Interviewer: Let's talk about your recent form. You've had an exceptional season so far, with Olympians Cariocas currently ranking third in the league. What do you attribute this success to?
Lucio Fusco: I think it's a combination of factors. Our team has been working cohesively and implementing our favorite formation, the 4-5-1, which suits our play style. Individually, I've been putting in the work, but unfortunately, the goals and assists haven't been flowing as I would like. However, I remain optimistic and determined to contribute more to the team's success.
Interviewer: Is there any particular club that you enjoy playing against the most?
Lucio Fusco: Yes, definitely. I always look forward to facing BBZ. They have a strong defense, and it provides a thrilling challenge for me as a forward. The competition pushes me to give my best and find ways to break through their lines. It's always an exciting match.

Lucio Fusco: Well, an interesting fact about me is that I've recently adopted a more health-conscious approach to my lifestyle. As a young player, I didn't always prioritize my health, but with age and experience, I realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've made significant changes in my diet, reducing fast food and embracing a more keto-focused approach. It has positively impacted my performance on the pitch.
