Teenage Sensation Malea Maiava Talks About Life On and Off the Pitch

Interviewer: Malea Maiava, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. How are you feeling about your performance this season with Lagos Sunshine FC?

Malea Maiava: Thank you for having me. I think I've had an average season so far. I've been trying to improve my game and help the team as much as I can, but there's always room for growth.

Interviewer: You've played 11 matches this season but have yet to score a goal. Are you feeling any pressure to find the back of the net?

Malea Maiava: Of course, as a midfielder, I always aim to contribute to the team's attack. I've been working on my finishing and hope to score soon. But the most important thing is to help the team win games, whether that's through scoring goals or providing assists.

Interviewer: You mentioned providing assists. You have two assists this season. How do you feel about your role in setting up your teammates for goals?

Malea Maiava: I love setting up my teammates for goals. It's a great feeling to see them succeed and I believe that teamwork is key to our success as a team.

Interviewer: Can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and why?

Malea Maiava: My favorite club to play against is OLP. They always bring out the best in us and it's always a tough match. I enjoy the challenge and the competitive spirit they bring to the game.

Interviewer: Finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life off the pitch?

Malea Maiava: One interesting fact about me is that I love to play the guitar. It helps me relax and unwind after a tough match or a day of training. It's a hobby that I've had since I was a kid and it's something that brings me joy.
