Young Defender Gao Xie Talks About His Exciting Journey in Professional Football
Interviewer: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Gao Xie. Let's start by discussing your recent form. Despite not playing any matches this season, you've been labeled as having exceptional skill. How do you stay motivated and continue to improve without getting game time?
Gao Xie: Thank you for having me. It's definitely been a challenge to stay focused and motivated without playing matches, but I am always working hard in training to show my worth to the team. I believe that my time will come, and I need to be prepared for when it does.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics have been described as not the hardest worker, but not the worst either. How do you balance enjoying yourself off the field while still meeting the expectations of the club?
Gao Xie: It's all about finding a balance. I know when to have fun and when to focus on my responsibilities as a professional footballer. As long as I am able to perform when called upon, I don't see a problem with enjoying myself outside of training and matches.
Interviewer: You've been known to power through injuries and concussions, leading to concerns about your long-term health. How do you respond to these concerns?
Gao Xie: I understand the risks involved in playing football, and I am willing to take those risks in order to pursue my passion. My body may not be in the best shape, but I am determined to make the most of my career while I can.
Interviewer: Your favorite club to play against is SLB. What is it about facing them that motivates you?
Gao Xie: SLB is a strong team with talented players, and I always enjoy the challenge of playing against them. It pushes me to be at my best and gives me the opportunity to prove myself against top competition.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Gao Xie: One interesting fact about me is that I am also a talented musician. I play the guitar in my free time and enjoy writing songs. It's a great way for me to relax and express myself creatively.
