Young Defender Mahki Naeole Shines Bright for Rotorua Savages

Interviewer: Mahki, congratulations on your exceptional recent form with Rotorua Savages. How are you feeling about your performance so far this season?
Mahki: Thank you! I'm feeling really good about how I've been playing on the pitch. It's been a great learning experience for me as a developing player, and I'm happy to contribute to the team's success.
Interviewer: You mentioned that you're not the hardest worker on the field, but you still put in the work. How do you balance having fun with meeting the expectations of the club?
Mahki: It's all about finding the right balance. I love playing football and having fun, but I also understand the importance of meeting the expectations of the club and my teammates. I make sure to put in the work during practice and games, while still enjoying the game.
Interviewer: It's great to hear that you're taking steps to adopt healthier habits to prolong your career. Can you tell us more about this change in lifestyle?
Mahki: Yeah, as a young player, I wasn't always the most health-conscious on the pitch. But as I've gained more experience, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've been focusing on eating healthier, cutting down on fast food, and incorporating more keto-friendly meals into my diet.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you share with us an interesting fact about your life off the pitch?
Mahki: Sure! One interesting fact about me is that I love to paint in my free time. It's a great way for me to relax and express my creativity outside of football.
Interviewer: Thank you for sharing, Mahki. Keep up the great work on and off the pitch with Rotorua Savages!
Mahki: Thank you, I will!
