Young Defender Selda Mamedov Talks About Sacrifices and Thriving in Football

Interviewer: Hello Selda, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. How do you feel about your recent exceptional form on the pitch?

Selda: Thank you for having me. I am pleased with how I have been performing lately, but I know there is always room for improvement. I am constantly striving to be the best defender I can be.

Interviewer: It's clear that you are very dedicated to your craft. Can you tell us more about your practice ethics and the sacrifices you make to succeed in football?

Selda: My practice ethic is extremely high. I do everything in my power to get better every single day. I have sacrificed a lot to pursue my dream of becoming a professional footballer. I have no friends, no fun. It's just work all day, every day.

Interviewer: That level of dedication is truly admirable. How do you balance your intense training schedule with staying healthy?

Selda: As a young player, I wasn't always the most health-conscious on the pitch. But as I have gained experience, I have started to adopt healthier habits to prolong my career. I am trying to eat less fast food and more keto-friendly meals.

Interviewer: Moving on to your favorite club to play against, you mentioned MAY. Can you tell us why they are your favorite opponent?

Selda: MAY always provides a tough challenge, and I enjoy testing my skills against them. It pushes me to be a better defender and helps me grow as a player.

Interviewer: Lastly, can you share an interesting fact about your life off the pitch that fans might not know?

Selda: One interesting fact about me is that I am a talented artist. In my free time, I love to paint and draw. It's a creative outlet for me outside of football.

Interviewer: Thank you for sharing that with us, Selda. We wish you continued success on and off the pitch.

Selda: Thank you. I will continue to work hard and strive to be the best player I can be for my team.
