Young Forward Maude Shafer Eager to Make Debut for Rotorua Savages
Interviewer: Maude Shafer, thank you for joining us today. You must be excited to make your debut for Rotorua Savages this season.
Maude Shafer: Absolutely, it's been a dream of mine to play at this level and I can't wait to finally get out on the pitch and show what I can do.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics have been described as extreme, with a singular focus on becoming the best footballer you can be. Can you tell us more about your dedication to the game?
Maude Shafer: Football is everything to me. I eat, sleep, and breathe the sport. I've sacrificed a lot to get to where I am today, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My goal is to thrive as a footballer, and I will do whatever it takes to make that happen.
Interviewer: It's great to see such passion and determination in a young player. How do you plan to balance your intense work ethic with maintaining a healthy lifestyle?
Maude Shafer: As I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've started adopting healthier habits, like eating a keto diet and making sure I get enough rest and recovery. I want to prolong my career as much as possible, and that means taking care of myself both on and off the pitch.
Interviewer: Is there a specific club that you look forward to playing against in the upcoming season?
Maude Shafer: I always enjoy playing against OLP. They have a strong team and it's always a good challenge to face them on the pitch.
Interviewer: And finally, can you tell us a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Maude Shafer: Well, despite my intense focus on the game, I do have a soft spot for gardening. It's a relaxing hobby that helps me clear my mind and recharge after a tough training session.
Interviewer: That's a surprising hobby for such a dedicated player. Thank you for sharing with us, Maude. We can't wait to see you in action for Rotorua Savages this season. Good luck!
Maude Shafer: Thank you, I'll give it my all.
