Young midfielder Annelise Werner talks about her intense dedication to football
Reporter: Annelise, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Can you tell us a bit about your practice ethics and your dedication to the sport?
Annelise: Of course. Football is my life, my passion, my everything. I will do whatever it takes to become the best player I can be. I train tirelessly, day in and day out, always pushing myself to improve. I don't have time for friends or fun - my only goal is to thrive as a footballer.
Reporter: That's certainly a commendable level of dedication. How do you balance this intense focus on football with other aspects of your life?
Annelise: Honestly, football comes first for me. I know some people might think I'm missing out on other things, but I'm willing to make sacrifices to achieve my dreams. I'm starting to focus more on my health now, though. I've been cutting down on fast food and trying to eat a more balanced diet.
Reporter: That's great to hear. Do you have a favorite club to play against?
Annelise: I always look forward to playing against LUC. It's a tough match, but I thrive on the challenge.
Reporter: And finally, can you tell us an interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Annelise: Well, not many people know this, but I used to be a competitive swimmer before I fully dedicated myself to football. Swimming taught me discipline and determination, qualities that have served me well on the pitch.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Annelise. It's been a pleasure speaking with you. Good luck with your future in football.
Annelise: Thank you. I'll keep working hard to make my dreams a reality.
