Young Midfielder Gerold Lange Making Waves at The Gymnastic Society

Reporter: Hello Gerold, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. You're only 19 years old, yet your recent form on the pitch has been exceptional. How do you feel about your performance so far this season?
Gerold: Thank you for having me. I'm really pleased with how I've been playing lately. Even though I haven't had a chance to play in any matches yet this season, I've been working hard in training and I feel like I'm ready to make an impact when the opportunity arises.
Reporter: Some have criticized your practice ethics, saying you're not willing to put in the extra work. How do you respond to those accusations?
Gerold: It's true that I like to have fun and spend time with my family, but that doesn't mean I'm lazy. Football is important to me, and I always give my best on the pitch. I may have a wide range of interests, but I know how to balance them with my passion for the game.
Reporter: It's great to hear that you have a strong work ethic. How do you maintain your health and fitness as a young player?
Gerold: I'll admit that I haven't always been the most health-conscious on the pitch, but as I get older and gain more experience, I'm starting to take better care of myself. I've been cutting back on fast food and trying to follow a more balanced diet, like keto, to prolong my career.
Reporter: That's a smart decision for your long-term well-being. Lastly, what's your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style?
Gerold: I always look forward to playing against GIZ, they bring out the best in me. My favorite formation is 4-4-1-1, and I love playing an attacking style of football that keeps the fans on the edge of their seats.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Gerold. One last thing before we go - can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our readers?
Gerold: Sure! I actually have a black belt in karate. It's a hobby I've had since I was a kid, and it helps me stay disciplined both on and off the pitch.
