Young midfielder Kalaya Taitano making waves at Mumbai Leopards
Interviewer: Kalaya, thank you for taking the time to chat with us today. As a young player in the Mumbai Leopards team, how does it feel to be making such a big impact despite your age?
Kalaya: Thank you for having me. It's definitely a surreal experience to be playing at this level at such a young age. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've been given and I'm just trying to make the most of them.
Interviewer: Your recent form has been exceptional, even though you haven't played any matches this season. What do you attribute this success to?
Kalaya: I've been working really hard in training and trying to improve my skills every day. I think my dedication and commitment to the game have helped me perform well, even without playing in any matches yet.
Interviewer: How would you describe your practice ethics?
Kalaya: I would say that I'm not the hardest worker, but I'm also not the worst. I try to put in the work required to meet the club's expectations, but I also make sure to have fun and enjoy myself while doing it.
Interviewer: That's a great balance to strike. What are your favorite club to play against and what is your favorite play style and formation?
Kalaya: My favorite club to play against is definitely ROY. They always bring out the best in me and it's always a competitive match. I love playing an attacking style of football in a 4-3-3 formation. It allows me to showcase my skills and contribute to the team's success.
Interviewer: Lastly, could you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Kalaya: Well, I actually have a pet turtle named Sheldon. He's been with me since I was a kid and he's like a little companion to me. It's nice to have something to take care of and look after, besides just playing football.
Interviewer: That's adorable! Thank you for sharing that with us, Kalaya. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season with Mumbai Leopards.
Kalaya: Thank you so much, it's been a pleasure.
