Young Midfielder Sonia Leja Talks About Her Exceptional Form and Developing Career
Interviewer: Hello Sonia, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Your recent form has been exceptional, how do you feel about your performance on the pitch?
Sonia: Thank you for having me. I'm really happy with how I've been playing lately. I've been working hard in training and it's great to see that hard work paying off in matches.
Interviewer: You're only 18 years old and already making a name for yourself in the football world. How do you stay focused and grounded amidst all the attention?
Sonia: I just try to stay humble and keep working on my game. I know I still have a lot to learn and improve on, so I try not to let the hype get to my head. My coach and teammates also keep me in check, which I really appreciate.
Interviewer: What are your goals for the rest of the season with Sycamore FC?
Sonia: I want to continue to perform well and help the team climb up the standings. I also hope to score my first goal and get some assists under my belt. Ultimately, I just want to keep improving and helping the team succeed.
Interviewer: We've heard that you have a favorite club to play against, GAU. What is it about that matchup that you enjoy?
Sonia: GAU always brings out the best in us as a team. The matches are always intense and competitive, which is a great challenge for me as a player. Plus, the atmosphere during those games is always electric.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life off the pitch?
Sonia: Well, I actually love to bake in my free time. It's a great way for me to relax and unwind from the pressures of football. My teammates love it too, so I often bring some treats to share with them after training.
