Young talent Ilay Koc determined to make mark in upcoming season
Reporter: Ilay, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. You have yet to make an appearance in the matches this season, can you tell us what you have been working on in training to prepare for your debut?
Ilay Koc: Thank you for having me. Yes, it's been a tough start to the season for me, but I have been putting in the work every day to improve my game. I have been focusing on my finishing, my movement off the ball, and my defensive skills. I want to be ready to make an impact when my opportunity comes.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been described as extreme, with a singular focus on becoming the best footballer you can be. Can you tell us about the sacrifices you have made to pursue your dream?
Ilay Koc: Football is my life. I am willing to do whatever it takes to succeed in this sport. I have sacrificed friendships, social activities, and even some personal time to dedicate myself fully to my career. I believe that hard work and dedication are the keys to success, and I am willing to put in the effort to achieve my goals.
Reporter: That is certainly admirable dedication to your craft. Can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and why?
Ilay Koc: My favorite club to play against is GIZ. They are a strong team with a solid defense, and I enjoy the challenge of facing them on the field. I always look forward to the opportunity to test myself against top competition, and playing against GIZ is always a tough but rewarding experience.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share an interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?
Ilay Koc: One interesting fact about me is that I am an avid reader. In my free time, I enjoy diving into books on a wide range of topics, from sports psychology to philosophy. Reading helps me to relax and unwind, and it also provides me with valuable knowledge and insights that I can apply to my football career.
