Young talent Kori Sasaki making waves at Alberta SC

Reporter: Kori, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Your recent form has been exceptional, even though you haven't played any matches this season. Can you tell us about your practice ethics and how you maintain such a high level of skill?

Kori: Thank you for having me. My practice ethic is simple - I will do whatever it takes to get better. I don't have time for friends or fun, my only goal in life is to thrive as a footballer. I work all day, every day, because that's the only way I know how to improve.

Reporter: You've been known to push through injuries and concussions in the past. How do you manage to maintain such a high level of performance despite these setbacks?

Kori: My body is more of a ruin than a temple, that's for sure. But I've always believed that if you want something bad enough, you'll do whatever it takes to achieve it. I've partied all night before cup finals, I've played through pain - nothing will stand in the way of my success.

Reporter: It's clear that you have a strong passion for the game. Is there a particular club that you enjoy playing against the most?

Kori: Definitely OIL. They always bring out the best in me, and I love the challenge they present on the field.

Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite formation and play style?

Kori: I prefer the 3-5-2 formation, with a focus on defending. I believe that a strong defense is the foundation for any successful team, and I take pride in my ability to shut down the opposition.

Kori: Well, I actually have a pet tarantula named Messi. He may not be the best at scoring goals, but he's definitely the best at scaring away unwanted visitors.
