Zhi Chiu: The Midfield Dynamo Who Lives Life on Their Terms

[Interviewer]: Good evening, Zhi Chiu. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's jump right into it. With your recent injury, how are you feeling?

[Zhi Chiu]: It's a pleasure to be here. Regarding my injury, it's definitely frustrating, but I'm doing everything I can to recover quickly and get back on the pitch. It's just a matter of time.

[Interviewer]: Your recent form has not been up to your usual exceptional standard. What do you think has been the reason behind this dip?

[Zhi Chiu]: Well, it's true that my recent performances haven't been up to scratch. I believe it's a combination of factors, including a lack of fitness and some personal distractions. But I'm taking steps to address these issues and regain my form as soon as possible.

[Interviewer]: Speaking of personal distractions, we've heard that you have a wide range of interests outside of football. Could you tell us more about that?

[Zhi Chiu]: Absolutely! Football is my passion, but I believe in having a balanced life. Apart from spending time with my family, I enjoy exploring different hobbies and activities. It keeps me mentally fresh and motivated. So, while some may label me as lazy, I see it as having a wide range of interests.

[Interviewer]: Your favorite club to play against is LUC. Is there a particular reason behind this preference?

[Zhi Chiu]: LUC has always been a challenging opponent, and I enjoy the thrill of facing strong teams. They bring out the best in me, and it's a great opportunity to showcase my skills and help my team secure a victory.

[Interviewer]: Let's talk about your favorite formation and play style. Why do you prefer the 3-5-2 formation and a neutral play style?

[Zhi Chiu]: The 3-5-2 formation allows for a solid defense while maintaining a strong attacking presence. It suits my midfield role perfectly, giving me the flexibility to support both defense and attack. As for the neutral play style, it allows me to adapt to various game situations and contribute effectively regardless of the opponent's style.

[Interviewer]: Your current team, Rotorua Savages, is currently sitting at the top of the league table. How does that feel, and what does it say about the team's potential?

[Zhi Chiu]: It's a great feeling to be leading the pack. It reflects the hard work and determination of the entire team. We have a group of talented players who are willing to give their all to achieve success. While it's still early in the season, this achievement shows that we have the potential to go all the way.

[Interviewer]: Finally, could you share an interesting fact about your life that not many people may know?

[Zhi Chiu]: Well, not many people know that I have a deep love for cooking. Whenever I get some free time, you'll find me experimenting with new recipes and trying to perfect my culinary skills. It's a therapeutic activity for me and helps me unwind from the pressures of professional football.

[Interviewer]: That's certainly an interesting hobby! Thank you, Zhi Chiu, for giving us an insight into your life and career. We wish you a speedy recovery and continued success on and off the pitch.

[Zhi Chiu]: Thank you. It's been a pleasure. I look forward to getting back out there and helping my team achieve our goals.
